KERN’s sub-brand Visual Drugstore was appointed by MINI to create a new installation for the 2014 International MINI Dealer Experience in Madrid, Spain. The agency conceptualised a unique and immersive 3D video installation for the preview of the new John Cooper Works MINI model. As the MINI model was in a fixed state, Visual Drugstore built a solution around this by moving away from the classic and conventional methods to produce a presentation paired with complex video mapping. The series showcased the MINI model in a variation of scenes and locations that were projected onto the walls. This gave the moving impression and effect showcasing the MINI model in various locations like that of New York and Tokyo, successfully transporting the audience to new locations through the use of extensive 3D backgrounds and colours.
